About This Spot

Stepping into To Plokami is like unfolding a quiet chapter by the sea, where the gentle rhythm of Nea Makri’s coastline sets a leisurely pace. Tucked along Leof. Posidonos, this seafood restaurant embraces you with a laid-back, unpretentious warmth that feels both familiar and refreshing after a day spent wandering the sun-soaked promenade.

The atmosphere is inviting without fuss, a place where the sound of waves mingles softly with convivial chatter and the occasional clink of glasses. Here, time seems to slow just enough to savor simple, honest moments — a shared dish, a thoughtful recommendation, a knowing smile from the staff who genuinely enjoy guiding you through their menu.

Food at To Plokami is an invitation to experience the sea’s generous bounty intertwined with local traditions. Whether it’s the snap of a grilled octopus tentacle, the sun-kissed freshness of the fish, or the comforting spread of mezze plates, each bite feels intimately tied to the place and the people who bring it to your table. Even those less drawn to seafood will find thoughtful alternatives that respect their tastes without missing the soulful spirit of the menu.

The pace here is unhurried — perfect for lingering over a glass of ouzo or watching the sunset dye the horizon while sharing stories and laughter. Guests often appreciate the approachable yet attentive service, sensing the genuine care woven into every interaction, and find themselves returning not just for the food, but for the welcoming mood that lingers after the meal.

For those seeking a moment of calm discovery along Greece’s coast, To Plokami offers a quietly special experience, where the savoring of local flavors is always paired with a feeling of easy, seaside belonging.

The waiter was very helpful and try to compromise our food preferences - one doesn't eat seafood. He recommended the Mediterranean red mullet and Atlantic prawns. The non-seafood eaters ate chicken and pork belly. Everyone was happy. We got a complementary ice cream which was bonus in such hot day. The only thing we found can be issue was there were stray cats. They loved the smell of seafood. There was a dog barking at the cats all the time.

I have been to this fantastic restaurant many times everytime I visit Greece and Neya Makri from around 2016.. this place has one of the best seafood I have ever had and variety.. the taste is always great (dummer and winter)... the staff are super nice and friendly.. the wine is also great... perfect location in front of the sea... highly recommended.

Enjoyed a fantastic quality meal at To Plokami! The pictures don't lie. It's a short, pleasant walk down the promenade, located a little off the beaten path at the end. Recommended.
